Alta. A name that hasn’t dripped off of anyone’s lips in a few years at least. I’d completely forgotten that they existed. We never did hear the truth on why HD backet out of the partnership which allowed Alta to wither away and die.

But BRP is huge and has the resources to build on what Alta started. The Redshift was a pretty darn good bike and I have no reason to believe that Can Am couldn’t make an even better MXer and other street bikes. There needs to be a better domestic option than the Zeros and something that can compete with the better performing Energicas.

I’m still out because my LD touring needs aren’t ever going to be met in my lifetime. Same with any weekend rides I do.
